Biography
Joseph Schuchart is a PhD student at the Höchstleistungsrechnenzentrum Stuttgart (HLRS) working with Dr. Gracia on the DFG-funded SmartDASH project. Before that, he has conducted research on performance analysis tools and energy efficiency in high performance computing (HPC) at the Technische Universität Dresden. In his current position, he is performing research on efficient methods for task management and global task dependencies in the DASH PGAS programming model. His general research interests include performance analysis and optimization as well as novel programming models and their efficient use in scientific computing application.
