Eric Borch
Biography
Eric Borch is an HPC system architect at Intel Corporation, with over 20 years of experience optimizing system performance. His early career was spent improving performance on Alpha, X86 and Itanium processors. In the past decade he has focused on large scale HPC system interconnects, working on switch micro-architecture, topologies, and routing algorithms. Throughout his career, performance simulation has been a constant tool to discover performance opportunities and design optimal solutions to maximize performance. Currently he is the fabric interconnect architect for Intel’s large scale HPC systems.
