Benoit Marchand
Biography
I am a senior HPC specialist, and computer scientist, with more than 30 years experience in
High Performance Computing, architecture design, system optimization, and scientific application
support. I support research projects, porting, optimizing, debugging, and reworking scientific
applications to suit research needs. Furthermore I develop new computational methods and
applications mostly in the area of data flow processing and asynchronous processing.
Previously I have held management and executive positions in the computer industry supporting
the HPC market across Europe, Africa and the Middle-East for companies such as Silicon Graphics,
Sun Microsystems, and Exludus Technologies.
