Biography
Avi Mendelson is a visiting professor at Technion Isreal and Nanyang Technical University (NTU), Singapore. He has a blend of vast industry and academic experience. His research interests are in computer architecture, accelerator technologies in general and for machine learning in particular and hardware security. He has authored or co-authored more than 130 publications and over 30 patents. He serves as a second VP and a member of the board of governors of the IEEE computer society. Avi serves as a general and a program chairman of several top-tier IEEE and ACM conferences including IEEE/ACM Symposium on Computer Architecture and ACM International Conference on Supercomputing (ICS). He is a Fellow of the IEEE.
