Biography
Dr. Young is a research scientist in the School of Computer Science at Georgia Tech. His research focuses on the development of interconnects, accelerators, and memory abstractions to support high-performance applications and algorithms. He is currently working with ORNL researchers on how to use ARM-based, full-system simulations to design and test future ARM cluster architectures and how to best co-design application software to take advantage of new vectorization and data movement optimizations enabled by features like ARM SVE.
