Biography
José Gracia is Senior Researcher and head of the group Scalable
Programming Models and Tools at the High Performance Computing Center
Stuttgart (HLRS). Previous to joining HLRS in 2009, he was Marie Curie
Fellow at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies and National
University of Athens, respectively, were he did research in computational
astrophysics. His current research interest include novel programming
models in HPC, in particular hierarchical global view models and
distributed task-based models, as well as development tools for parallel
computing such as model-centric debugging and correctness verification.
Lastly, he is interested in performance modeling and optimization in
view of the trade-off between program complexity and programmer
productivity.
