Biography
Swaroop Pophale is a Computer Scientist at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She has worked extensively on programming models for both shared and distributed systems. For most of her HPC career she has focused on Partitioned Global Address Space programming model with special emphasis on OpenSHMEM library research. She is also involved in OpenMP research for exascale systems. Her research interests include compiler based static analysis tools, benchmark development, and architecture specific application tuning. She has been involved in the OpenSHMEM standardization effort since its inception and continues to contribute towards OpenSHMEM and OpenMP Specification and extensions' research. She has been the technical chair and editor for the OpenSHMEM Workshop as well as been on program committees of Grace Hopper Celebration, Super Computing, and CCGrid.
