Damian is a High-Performance Computing consultant at SURFsara. Since 2016, he has been part of the “Intel Parallel Computing Center”, becoming Co-PI in 2017. Additionally, he has been involved in the “Deep Learning Enhanced HPC” and “Efficient Deep Learning” projects, and since 2017, has been leading the “Quantum Computing and Internet” project within SURFsara. Damian’s activities and interests vary from machine learning workflows, scale-out optimization, and algorithmic changes needed in order to maintain final solution accuracy to novel designs for artificial neural networks and efficient use of emerging hardware architectures.
