DescriptionIn this session, Martijn de Vries, CTO at Bright Computing will look at the evolution of HPC and the emerging requirement for infrastructure to span the edge, the core, and the cloud. Martijn will explore the role that cloud computing has played in revolutionizing the way that organizations store and use their data, and the associated limitations, such as latency, bandwidth, and security that necessitate edge computing alternatives. Martijn will address the challenges of building and managing a distributed infrastructure that includes edge and cloud; and explain how organizations can achieve their goal of running a shared infrastructure that spans the edge, the core, and the cloud.
