DescriptionThe world of HPC in industry is very different from the academic scope of supercomputing. Besides the much smaller scales, also self-developed parallel codes are quite rare. This talk will give an overview of HPC-Applications at Airbus, especially in the Satellite business. Different approaches will be discussed, as well as the gap between recent development of the supercomputing hardware and the todays needs of industry.
