The ISC research paper sessions provide world-class opportunities for engineers and scientists in academia, industry and government to present and discuss issues, trends and results that will shape the future of high performance computing (HPC), machine learning, data analytics and quantum computing.
Submitted research paper proposals will be reviewed by the ISC 2024 Research Papers Committee, which is headed by Jeff Hammond, NVIDIA, Finland as Chair.
The ISC poster sessions are an excellent platform to present your latest research results, projects and innovations to a global audience including your HPC peers. We offer valuable opportunities to practice your communication skills, get feedback on your research, and expand your network within the HPC community.
ISC attendees receive the opportunity to gain an overview of new developments, HPC research and engineering activities within informal conversations.
The ISC Research Poster program provides an opportunity to disseminate your latest research results. Scientists from industry and academia (students included) are welcome to submit their poster proposals.
Submitted research poster proposals will be reviewed by the ISC 2024 Research Posters Committee, which is headed by Rio Yokota, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan as Chair.

A project poster enables participants to present ongoing and emerging projects by presenting fundamental ideas, methodology and preliminary work. Researchers with upcoming and recently funded projects are encouraged to submit a poster of their work. Those with novel project ideas are invited to present as well.
Submitted Project Poster proposals will be reviewed by the ISC 2024 Project Poster Committee, which is headed by Antonino Tumeo, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, USA.
The goal of ISC workshops is to provide attendees with a focused and in-depth platform for presentations, discussion and interaction in a particular subject area.
The ISC 2024 Workshop Committee is headed by Michele Weiland, EPCC - The University of Edinburgh, AHUG, United Kingdom as Chair.
The ISC tutorials are interactive courses focusing on key topics high performance computing (HPC), machine learning, data analytics and quantum computing. Renowned experts in their respective fields will give attendees a comprehensive introduction to the topic as well as providing a closer look at specific problems. Tutorials are encouraged to include a “hands-on” component to allow attendees to practice prepared materials.
Submitted tutorial proposals will be reviewed by the ISC 2024 Tutorial Committee, which is headed by Shadi Ibrahim, Inria, France, USA as chair.
Like-minded ISC attendees come together in our informal Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) sessions to discuss current HPC topics, network and share their thoughts and ideas. Each BoF session addresses a different topic and is led by one or more individuals with expertise in the area. BoFs are different in nature from panels, technical paper sessions, tutorials, vendor talks, and other, more presentation-oriented parts of the ISC program.
Submitted BoF proposals will be reviewed by the ISC 2024 BoF Committee, which is headed Brian J. N. Wylie, Jülich Supercomputing Centre, Germany as Chair.
