What is ISC High Performance?
The ISC High Performance conference is Europe’s largest international conference and exhibition for high performance computing (HPC), networking and storage. It provides a 5-day platform for learning and networking with over 3,500 HPC researchers, technology leaders, scientists and IT decision makers. The exhibition showcases over 160 exhibitors of HPC vendors, universities and research organizations.

What is the common language spoken at ISC High Performance?
The official language of the conference is English, and all presentations will be held in English. Translation services will not be provided.

How can I contribute to the ISC conference program?
ISC offers various opportunities to contribute actively to the conference program.
Speakers of these sessions are recruited via a call for participation. You need to submit a proposal by a certain deadline, and the relevant Committee reviews all proposals and selects the ones admitted to ISC.

When will the registration start?
Online registration starts in spring 2020.
What are the registration fees?
Registration fees will be published in spring 2020.
Is there a deadline for registration?
No. You can register throughout the conference. However, the fees are higher if you register later.
What kind of payments do you accept for online registration?
You may only pay by credit card.
Are meals included in the registration fee?
The registration fee includes lunch, coffee breaks, food and drinks at the ISC Exhibition Party. Beverages are provided throughout the day.
Can I register and pay on-site by cash?
You can pay either by cash (Euros) or credit card on-site.
Why is VAT (Value Added Tax) charged in ISC invoices?
According to the German Laws, we need to charge VAT on all ISC-rendered services. All prices are therefore subject to the statutory rate of VAT valid in Germany.
What are the registration hours during ISC 2020?
The Check-In & Self Registration Counter will be open from Sunday, June 21 to Thursday, June 25, 2020. The opening hours are as below:

What are the ISC High Performance terms and conditions?

Will WiFi be available at ISC High Performance?
Yes, free WiFi will be available in the conference center and exhibition hall for attendees and exhibitors, however it is governed by a WiFi Policy. This policy is binding for all participants of ISC High Performance.
We will be recording different sessions and later publish the same on the internet, particularly on YouTube. In some camera settings, the audience will be visible, and you might appear as a member of the audience (in sound, picture and video).
What happens if I lost my badge?
If you have lost any of your personal belongings please ask at the information counter in the Foyer of Hall 3 or contact email@example.com.
Do I need a visa to travel to Germany?
Visas are required for some nationalities. To find out if you need a visa for Germany, visit germany-visa.org/do-i-need-a-visa/.
You may need an invitation letter for your visa application. When you register online for ISC 2020, you can request an invitation letter be emailed as a PDF to you free of charge or sent as a hard copy to you by DHL Express at a handling fee of 50.00 € plus VAT.
How do I get to the Messe Frankfurt from the airport or to downtown hotels?

What is the climate for Frankfurt in June?
Frankfurt is located in one of the warmer areas of Germany. Just like in any other part of Germany, the temperatures are very much influenced by a constant airflow from the Atlantic Ocean. This means that temperatures almost never get unbearable.
Summer months in Frankfurt are busy, with many festivals and outdoor events taking place. You can expect warm temperatures in June, with average daily highs of around 24°C and comfortable nights of 14°C. Occasionally a heat wave will push high temperatures to the low 30s Celsius.

Does the conference also cater to vegetarians?
Yes, there will be vegetarian meals for lunch every day.
