ISC 2016 HPC IN ASIA POSTERS
The ISC HPC in Asia Posters are an excellent opportunity to present your latest research results, projects and innovations to a global audience. In 2016, we will once again dedicate the session to HPC research and industry activities in the Asian region.
All accepted HPC in Asia posters will be displayed at ISC High Performance, and poster authors will have the opportunity to discuss with the attendees during the HPC in Asia Poster Session on Wednesday, June 22. Moreover, the posters will be on display from Tuesday, June 21 through Wednesday, June 22, alongside the ISC Research Posters.
From all HPC in Asia posters submitted to the conference, the ISC 2016 HPC in Asia Program Committee, which is headed by Prof. Dr. Taisuke Boku, University of Tsukuba, has selected the following 15 posters for presentation at the conference:

Areas of Interest
HPC in Asia posters are intended to cover all areas of interest as listed in the Call for Research Papers, but focused on HPC activities within the Asian region. However, authors from all countries are welcome to submit.
Submission
Abstracts and poster materials need to be submitted via the Linklings submission site at https://ssl.linklings.net/conferences/isc_hpc/ by Monday, March 21, 2016, 11:59 pm AoE. Please provide the following information in the Linklings submission form:
- Poster title
- Poster author information
- Short poster abstract (250 words maximum)
- Topic area (as listed in the Call for Research Papers)
- One to five keywords
- Draft of the poster as PDF file (1 page maximum)
Poster Selection
The HPC in Asia Program Committee will review and evaluate all submitted posters based on their originality, significance, quality and clarity. Each poster will be reviewed by at least three reviewers, and the HPC in Asia Program Committee will select the posters for presentation at ISC High Performance 2016.
ISC HPC in Asia Poster & ISC Research Poster Awards
ISC High Performance 2016 is pleased to announce that all posters submitted to the ISC HPC in Asia Poster and ISC Research Poster sessions this year stand an equal chance of being considered for the best poster award in both submission categories.
A joint poster committee will select three best-rated posters from both submission categories, and award the most outstanding poster with the “ISC HPC in Asia Poster” and “ISC Research Poster” awards. The joint committee will consist of the following members:

- Alexey Lastovetsky, University College Dublin, Ireland
- Yutong Lu, National University of Defense Technology, China
- Marek Michalewicz, A*Star, Singapore
- Vladimir Voevodin, Moscow State University, Russia
The ISC HPC in Asia Poster Award winner will have the opportunity to present a talk on the winning poster during the ISC 2016 HPC in Asia session on Wednesday, June 22, and will receive a complimentary full conference pass for the 2017 conference.
Proceedings
The final PDF versions of the posters and extended abstracts need to be uploaded to Linklings no later than Friday, June 3, 2016. They will be collected from Linklings and included in the online program (Agenda Planner) and the conference proceedings, which will be available to all conference attendees a few days after the event.
Publications
The International Journal Supercomputing Frontiers and Innovations (JSFI) will dedicate its third issue in 2016 as a special issue and publish the best HPC in Asia and ISC Research posters after the conference. The authors will be invited to submit papers to JSFI as full length papers or short communications (see details at http://superfri.org).
Terms & Conditions
- By submitting a poster, you agree to present the poster at ISC High Performance in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Poster presenters need to be registered conference participants, and only posters of registered presenters will be admitted.
- Poster presenters are responsible for creating, printing and transporting their posters to the conference. The final poster may not exceed A0 portrait paper size (841 mm x 1189 mm/33.1” x 46.8”) or A1 landscape paper size (594 mm x 841 mm/23.4” x 33.1”).
- Travel, accommodation and other costs, such as airfare, registration fees, etc., will not be covered by the ISC organizers.
- The ISC organizers will grant a 100% discount on the day conference pass to one presenter per poster for the day of their presentation, Wednesday, June 22 (or an equivalent discount on the full conference pass).
